- Develop awareness of extremity bleeding control with life threatening bleeds
Included in this training in the "handouts" section are powerpoint presentations that can be utilized to perform your own Active Shooter tabletops, however, we have created narrated versions of these tabletop scenarios that you may utilize by turning up the volume so that every one can hear the scenario updates and discussion prompts. After reading each slide, the narrator will stay quiet to allow for thought and discussion. This scenario details the attack of a disgruntled ex-employee. This scenario was drafted to assist centers with testing their emergency operations plans. Though it is a very real scenario, and situations like this one have happened in the world, it is not based on a true story.
